The cartilage matrix consists of various substances, such as glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate, hyaluronic acid and collagen, can store water and thus acts as a shock absorber. This constant and often very high stress demands a lot from the articular cartilage. To maintain our mobility, it is therefore very important to support its health as best as possible with exercise and an optimal supply of nutrients.

New name – proven recipe
The proven composition and the orange flavor of Orthomol arthroplus remain identical even with the new product name. The combination of ingredients and the usual Orthomol quality remain unchanged.Why was Orthomol arthroplus renamed?
Due to new legal circumstances, the product now belongs to the category of dietary supplements. This means that the product will be marketed under the new name Orthomol chondroplus with immediate effect. The new product name is derived from the Greek chóndros, which describes the (joint) cartilage.
As a result, our package texts no longer refer to “dietary management of arthritic joint changes”, but to “micronutrients for cartilage and bone”. In addition to important nutrients for connective tissue and bone, Orthomol chondroplus still contains the cartilage components glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, hyaluronic acid and collagen hydrolysate – our proven composition and dosage remain unchanged.
Dextrose, collagen hydrolyzate (from bovine) (15%), maltodextrin, calcium lactate, D-glucosamine sulfate (from crustaceans) (8.4%), fish oil (6%), acidifier malic acid, L-ascorbic acid, acidifier citric acid, flavor, chondroitin sulfate (2.7%), magnesium carbonate, gelatin (from bovine), DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, humectant glycerin, N-acetyl-L-cysteine, zinc gluconate, sodium hyaluronate and hyaluronic acid-containing extract from chicken (0.4%), bioflavonoid-containing citrus fruit extract (from Citrus sp.), sweetener acesulfame K, anti-caking agent silicon dioxide, nicotinamide, emulsifier soy lecithins, calcium D-pantothenate, mixed tocopherols, sweetener sucralose, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin, thiamine mononitrate, color iron oxides, manganese sulfate, beta-carotene, copper sulfate, lutein-containing Tagetes erecta extract, retinyl acetate, pteroyl monoglutamic acid, lycopene (from Solanum lycopersicum), D-biotin, sodium molybdate, sodium selenate, phylloquinone, cholecalciferol, cyanocobalamin.

Daily stir the contents of one sachet into 150 – 200 ml of still water and take with or after a meal together with the capsules.
– If you suffer from disorders of glucose tolerance, use the dietary food only under careful metabolic control.
– Orthomol Arthro plus® should not be used during pregnancy, lactation or in children. A study using glucosamine in pregnant women showed no abnormalities. However, due to the limited data available on glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate, its use is not recommended for pregnant women, nursing mothers and children.
– When taking medication that affects blood coagulation, blood coagulation parameters should be closely monitored, especially at the start and end of treatment.
– Orthomol Arthro plus® is lactose- and gluten-free.
– In individual cases there may be slight burping due to the fish oil (omega-3 fatty acids) contained in the capsules. To avoid burping, you can take the capsules before going to bed.
– Due to the vitamin B2 content, the urine may turn yellow.
The product contains strongly coloring beta-carotene (provitamin A). Possible stains, e.g. on clothing, are difficult to remove.
– Keep Orthomol Arthro plus® in a cool and dry place.
