Shipping to the United States has become significantly more expensive following major changes to U.S. import regulations.

Since August 29, 2025, the previous de minimis exemption for shipments valued at up to USD 800 has been suspended. As a result, low-value commercial shipments that previously entered the U.S. with minimal customs processing are now subject to customs clearance, applicable import duties and additional carrier processing.

Why does this affect shipping costs?

  • Every shipment requires additional customs processing
  • Import duties now apply to shipments that were previously duty-free under the de minimis exemption
  • Carriers such as FedEx charge additional fees for customs and duty processing
  • Traditional low-cost postal shipping has become significantly more difficult for commercial shipments to the U.S.

How do we ship to the United States?

We currently ship U.S. orders via FedEx. This provides professional customs clearance, full tracking and reliable delivery under the current U.S. import framework.

Will I have to pay additional charges when my order arrives?

No. Applicable U.S. customs duties and the FedEx processing fee are calculated and collected directly at checkout.

This means you know the full cost of your order before completing your purchase. There are no additional customs duties or FedEx processing fees to pay upon delivery.

Will shipping become cheaper again?

We continuously review alternative shipping options and carrier solutions. However, as long as the current U.S. customs requirements remain in place, international shipping to the United States is expected to remain more expensive than it was under the previous de minimis system.
