To protect coral reefs and waters, all sun protection products of the brands SUNDANCE and alverde are free from the light protection filters octinoxate and oxybenzone, in accordance with the Hawaii Reef Act (SB 2571).

Apply sunscreen generously before spending time in the sun. Small amounts applied will significantly reduce the protective performance. Apply several times to maintain protection, especially when sweating or after swimming and drying off. Avoid intense midday sun. Protect babies and young children from direct sunlight, use sunscreens with a high sun protection factor (SPF greater than 25) and protective clothing. Even sunscreens with high SPFs do not provide complete protection from UV rays. Despite using a sunscreen, do not stay in the sun too long. Any sunburn will permanently damage the skin and should be avoided. Excessive sunbathing poses a serious health risk. Avoid contact with eyes. Apply only to intact skin. Allow sunscreen to absorb completely, especially before spending time in water.
