An adequate supply of vital nutrients is essential for health and performance. As the body cannot produce iron itself and it is also excreted daily, it must be taken in regularly and sufficiently with food.
Plant sources include nuts, seeds and pulses, while animal sources include liver and red meat from beef such as steak.

The body loses a certain amount of iron every day. As iron cannot be produced by the body itself, it must be supplied regularly and sufficiently through food.
However, it is not always possible to get enough iron from food. Many plant-based foods are poor sources of iron. A predominantly plant-based or unbalanced diet can be low in iron or contain ingredients that interfere with iron absorption (e.g. black tea, coffee), while other ingredients (e.g. vitamin C) can increase absorption in the body.
In addition to 14 mg of iron, the easy-to-swallow mini tablets from Doppelherz contain vitamin C, the amino acid histidine and the B vitamins folic acid and B12.
