Doppelherz Irritable Bowel – Supportive Treatment for IBS
Doppelherz Irritable Bowel is a medical device designed for the supportive treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), including symptoms such as bloating, intestinal gas, abdominal discomfort, constipation and diarrhea.
Its physical mode of action helps absorb intestinal gases and forms a protective film on the intestinal mucosa.
Physical Protection of the Intestinal Mucosa
The formulation contains zeolite (clinoptilolite) and other ingredients that act mechanically within the digestive tract.
According to the manufacturer, the product forms a mucoadhesive protective film on the intestinal lining and helps reduce typical IBS symptoms.
With Botanical Extracts
The formula combines chamomile extract, marshmallow extract and aloe vera with essential oils of sweet fennel and caraway.
It also contains heat-inactivated Lactobacillus plantarum bacteria. These are not live probiotic cultures.
For Common IBS Symptoms
Doppelherz Irritable Bowel is intended for supportive treatment of IBS associated with:
- Bloating and intestinal gas
- Abdominal pain and discomfort
- Constipation
- Diarrhea
Recommended Use
Take one tablet twice daily, between or before meals, as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
For acute pain, the dose may be increased according to the instructions for use. Do not exceed four tablets daily.
The manufacturer recommends a treatment period of approximately 2–6 weeks, depending on the severity of symptoms.
