Doppelherz Vitamin D Highdosed, 60 Mini-Tablets

Product Description

Recent research has shown that vitamin D is a true all-rounder for health. Nevertheless, many people take it in too small amounts with their food. The tablets of Doppelherz contain 50 μg vitamin D. This corresponds to 2000 I.U. (International Units) of Vitamin D.

Vitamin D – the sun vitamin

It has been known for a long time that vitamin D contributes to normal bone preservation as a “calcium incorporation aid”. Today we know that vitamin D fulfills beyond that still numerous further important tasks in the body.

Vitamin D is a true multi-talent for health:

– contributes to a normal utilization of calcium
– contributes to the preservation of normal bones and teeth
– contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function
– contributes to cell division and normal functioning of the immune system

Our body can produce Vitamin D by the regular exposure of the skin to sunlight. However, in our latitudes this self-production is often not sufficient. Especially in the autumn and winter months, when the immune system is particularly stressed and required, the body produces less vitamin D.

The body’s ability to produce vitamin D itself can also decrease with advancing age. If the body’s own production of vitamin D is absent or low, an increased supply of vitamin D through food is therefore required.

However, many people take up too little vitamin D with their food. Older and younger people are particularly affected by this. Vitamin D is only found in a few foods such as fish or liver in significant quantities. In addition, these foods are consumed in small quantities in this country.

For example, the “national consumption study” in 2008 showed that 91% of women and 82% of men are not sufficiently supplied with vitamin D through food.

The tablets of Doppelherz therefore contain 50 µg vitamin D.

A food supplement with Doppelherz Vitamin D 2000 I.E. is recommended:

– with missing body-own Vitamin D formation
– with an unbalanced diet low in vitamin D
– for a short stay outdoors
– in the winter months
– in old age

Already 1 tablet Vitamin D 2000 I.E. supports with an increased need as well as with missing self production the good Vitamin D supply and makes so a contribution for health and well-being.
