Doppelherz’s 2-phase system consists of two different tablet layers, based on a specially developed manufacturing process. It works according to the principle of “rapid nutrient release” and “long-term nutrient release”:
Immediate phase – Rapid nutrient release
In the first phase, 240 mg of magnesium is released, making it available to the body more quickly.
Depot phase – Long-term supply
The second phase gradually releases 360 mg of magnesium over several hours.

Take ½–1 tablet once daily in the morning or evening with a meal and sufficient liquid (e.g., ½ glass of water) without chewing. If you have an increased magnesium requirement, e.g., due to increased physical exertion in combination with a magnesium-deficient diet, take 1 tablet daily. If you only have an insufficient magnesium supply, take ½ tablet.
This is a high-dose product. Large amounts of magnesium can have a laxative effect. If this is the case for you, you should stop taking it.
